Our Story

We are a 2nd generation family farm on the north shore of Kauai. The farm originated with Bruce and Cyndee Fehring and operated under the name Fehring Family Farm until 2021. The property began over thirty years ago covered in brush and is now an abundant farm filled with white sugarloaf pineapple, apple bananas, citrus and many other tropical fruits, thanks to all their hard work.

The farm was recently handed down to their daughter and son in law, Brianna and Corey Ansley, and is now operating under the name Aloha Ola Farms. Brianna, Corey, along with their 2 young boys and all their farm helpers work diligently every day to create high quality locally made products sold here on Kauai. They put all their efforts into improving the aina (land) from the ground up, to insure a better-quality product, for everyone’s enjoyment.

What We Do

Being a full circle farm, we do a little bit of everything! As stewards of this land, we are always striving to improve our soil naturally by following nature’s lead, to regenerate it in the healthiest way possible. We grow a variety of tropical fruits that get processed and turned into products right from our farm, which are sold directly to the people and businesses here on Kauai.

Our products can be found at both of our farm stands as well as some local stores and markets on the island including the Saturday Anaina Hou Market and the monthly Sunday Princeville Artist & Flea Market. We are proud to be part of the movement towards more sustainable local food production for the islands of Hawaii and to be serving healthy delicious treats in the process.

OUR MISSION

Aloha Ola is about loving life, which is our true goal. We believe that feeding the smallest living things on our planet promotes healthier food for every living thing. Our products are made with love from literally the ground up. Mahalo nui loa, thank you very much, to all of nature’s hidden workers for helping us to improve our soil and health for all.

WWOOF with Us

Ever wanted to work and learn on an organic farm while living on Kauai? Come WWOOF (Willing Workers On Organic Farms) with us! Through the WWOOF program we offer a work exchange opportunity to live and work on an organic farm.

We require a 3 month commitment and that includes a 25 hour work week in exchange for accommodation, food amenities, and a kind and respectful working and living community in which you can learn all about farming, making products, and cultivating self-sustainable practices. We have hosted a variety of wonderful people over the years.

What past WWOOFers had to say about their experience:

“Aloha Ola was my first wwoofing experience and I'm not sure it will ever be topped! I'm wishing I was back on the farm already…”

“Brianna and Corey are the best hosts! I learned so much from them about building healthy soil, planting and transplanting in the garden and greenhouse, harvesting and processing fruits and Sugarloaf pineapples (the best pineapple you will ever eat!!), and making some delicious desserts.”

“The three months I spent at Aloha Ola were hands down some of the best months of my entire life. The farm is so beautiful and the work is often hard but always rewarding. Brianna and Corey are incredibly supportive and caring and they made me feel so at home, as did the beautiful community of wwoofers who I know will be my friends for years to come!!”
